Let’s just agree with one thing that with current life style our eating habits are simply getting worse and in the midst of this when you come across something like Foodgasm , it’s a sheer delight. Located in the lane of ONGC at Bandra reclamation , Foodgasm is one of its kind in this vicinity that serves such healthy food.
On a Monday evening we landed at Foodgasm , easy to spot this quaint little eatery is pleasant place to look at. Vibrant colours and minimal interior makes it chic !
We started with Quinoa Batata Cutlet –this half baked Quinoa and potato is mixed with chillies and served super hot. Yumm !
Pesto filled cottage cheese – These paneer tikkis were light and nice
Lush green kebabs – Foodgasm’s version of Hara Bhara Kebab.
Turkish Punjabi – both Veg & Non Veg preparations were nice. The best part of this was the crispy cover. The dips were great.
Foodgasm Wings – If you love chicken , do not miss this. The wings were firey yet amazingly tasty. We couldn’t stop ourselves from eating more and more.
Meat Lovers Salad – This is the ultimate heath food option if you are meat lover. What does this not have ?? Stir fried prawns , baby shrimps , home smoked bacon , chicken liver and shallots and if there is something missing then there is greens. Super super !
East Indian Lamb Cutlet – That perfect home style east indian lamb which melts in your moth.
We also tried their Power Shot which is an Energy boosting drink made up of Banana , Musk Melon , dates and almonds.. Thick and Really amazing !
For mains we had Shakahari Kheema Pao – Its interesting to see that vegetarians still want to try veg versions of Kheema and Foodgasm has done justice to their kheema craving. Shakahari Kheema is made up of Soya Granules and minced mushrooms , vinegerate onions served with whole wheat freshly baked pao.
Baked Pumkin & Feta Fuselli – This though had amazing flavours the Fuselli wasn’t cooked enough.
Mains – Non Vegetarian we had Chicken Quinoa Biryani – Had heard so much about it that had to try it. Intersting concept and executed well too.
Their very famous Raspberry Ruhbarb Split was on its way completely baked and ready to served right after we finished our mains. Its complex dessert and I love it. The sour cream gives it those lil surprising flavours.
Bugs bunny cake was the second dessert of the evening. A carrot cake served with ice cream was a really warm and homely dessert . Loved it.
Foodgasm is an all day eating. Their menu is intelligently designed and brilliantly executed. If you are game to try food with a twist do give it a try.
