Hotel Review: Goa Marriott Resort & Spa

I stayed here for a work trip in June, just at the beginning of the #monsoon and it couldn’t have been a better time to be at this resort.

As its right on the beach, the lobby and all the common areas overlook the sea! Its gorgeous. As you enter the resort, the staff welcomes you the Goan way with local music, garlands etc. The front office staff is prompt The spacious and airy lobby, though open to the elements, is well-ventilated to provide comfort.

We were allotted a garden view room, but the team kindly upgraded us to a sea view room. Both category of rooms was spacious, well appointed, neat and clean.Each room has a bathtub.

The coffee shop - Waterfront Terrace & Bar was a ten on ten!

The food here is praiseworthy! The buffets were endless. With a variety of items to choose from.

What impressed me is at the breakfast buffet, in the south Indian section they had two different varieties of Sambar – Madras Style and Udupi style. This was it! This shows the kind of detailing a hotel gets into to cater to all the type of guests.

Of course, their international cuisine section was equally great.

The staff at the restaurant was extra attentive as the restaurant was always packed.

As I was here for the work trip, I got to eat at their banquet venue as well the quality of food was not compromised anywhere.

Banquets too, had a sea view.

As our stay was on a #weekend, we got to be there for the Sunday Brunch as well. And Oh my god! It was insanely good. There were so many items, one could get lost.

For the live station they had grill, sushi, baos and Alle Belle as well.

While the resort may have a traditional style due to its age, it doesn't detract from the enjoyable experience it offers.
