On Friday, we were invited by Novotel Mumbai, Juhu for an interesting evening to preview the new menu at #Sampan that welcomes Pullman Delhi Aerocity’s Asian restaurant #Honk. Accor's culinary director - Chef Sandeep Kalra has handpicked some of the popular dishes from their Delhi Pan Asian Restaurant.
We started our meal with a Kimchi Soup followed by Arugula Pomelo Salad. This Salad was packed with flavours.
From the appetisers, we had Wok Fried Lotus Stems and Waterchestnut in XO sauce. Followed by Wok Fried Silken Tofu.
For mains, we had the Indonesian Jackfruit Rendang Curry - a rich coconut milk based curry that was served with Jasmine Rice. Apart from this, we also had Cantonese style Wok Tossed Vegetables in Black Pepper sauce.
Udon Kemao, the stir fried Thai style udon noodles were quite delicious too.
We finished our meal with Thamthim Krob a coconut milk and rose flavoured Thai desert which was prepared front of us.
