Yeh Curry Zaroor Order Karein ! @ Curry Me Up

Updated: Dec 4, 2019

Place : Curry Me Up.

Location : Chandiwali

2nd September 2016

We all like our very own Indian dishes. Especially the typical north Indian / Mughali gravies that we all love for the wholesome meals. We take the efforts to go find good places and travel all the way to that place. But when someone tries to reduce that effort and give you some great food delivered at your doorstep then? Would you want to still go out?? Nope. I sure wouldn’t.

Curry me up is the Delivery Kitchen that dishes out amazing Indian food. (Of course focusing curries )

If you have a look at their menu. Its quite elaborate. Its neatly segregated in your usual course meal comprising of appetizers – Veg , Non veg & Sea food , Rolls , Curries – Veg , Non Veg – chicken , mutton , Different types of Rotis and Rice. Interesting thing – they also have a healthy food section that offers tofu and soya options.

Recently I had a chance to review the Chandiwali Curry Me Up’s food.

Here’s what I had – Appetizers

Shezwan Tandoori Lollypop – The non veg starter. It looked like a usual tandoori item however the aroma coming out of it was definitely inclining towards Chinese. I had my first bite into it and I was like – oh yes , this is shezwan ! This Tandoori Lollypop was droolworthy. The margination was too good. Full marks for this one.

Makhmali Subz Seekh Kebab – I wasn’t having very high expectations from this one but this one surprised us. Suiting the name it was really melt in the mouth makhmali. The mix vegetables made it healthy had it wasn’t too heavy too. Pudina Chatney that accompanied it was a bomb !

Mains

Veg Kheema – This I found to be average. Maybe the seasoning was less or the salt. It surely lacked something.

Paneer Butter Masala – Appetizing by its look. Good old butter masala. Paneer was fresh.

Dal Makahni – This ! we absolutely loved. Rich , thick , full of flavor !

Rotis that were given along were – Naan – this was a lil chewy. Needs improvement.

Roomali Roti – Papery thin. Do order these. They remain fresh for a very long time.

Laccha Paratha – Not bad. Nice flaky.

Mughlai Paratha – This again was very nicely made. This too remains intact with its flavor for a long time.

We finished our meal with Chicken Tikka Biryani – This one looked very tempting with their caramelized and fried onions on top. Generous amount of chicken and the masalas of biryani were very delicious. Boondi Raita accompanying it was nice too.
